What about me?

Hi:)... tidbits about me....

Well,I've been interested in the environment all my life, learning bits here and there.

In 2002, I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental and Conservation Sciences. There I had many tests, but the true test for me was later working at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, when I answered all types of questions like "what do I do with the porcupine in the yard?", or "what kind of bug is this?".

I continue learning, and have worked a summer at Meadow Lake Provincial Park, SK and been involved with Red Deer River Naturalists, the Young Naturalists Club of Alberta and the Meadow Lake Jr. Forest Wardens. The only thing better than learning was sharing my expertise with people, whether it be:

- answering questions

- pointing out signs of animals (such as bat pee at the door)

- leading walks

- teaching school classes

- organizing events.

With ever growing enthusiasm, my next logical jump was to expand my learning and sharing to you through the internet. I hope you enjoy my site and that I've been helpful.
